Walked in assuming I could get basic salmon or veggie rolls, but they told me their sushi rice is made with gluten-containing vinegar. I’ve always been a little skeptical of whether this is a real thing, but they were clear about it not being safe. They recommended only pad Thai or steamed vegetables out of a large menu- even their curries were not GF according to them. They offered to make some sashimi with brown rice specifically for me, but we ended up going elsewhere to have more options.
