Sushi YaYa

Do NOT eat here! The only sushi they have that is gluten free is the "raw" sushi. The waitress claimed everything on the menu can be made gluten free (except the soups) and once the order went back to the kitchen we were informed it couldn't be made gluten free. They premix everything so unless you want raw sushi, stay away if allergic to gluten!!

Nice staff. However they were misinformed as to what is GF. They tried serving imitation crab meat that is not GF. We had them check the ingredients. They informed us that other GF people eat it all the time. Trendy GF peeps obviously. We were able to get some basic GF options that was so so

Not celiac friendly for sure. They have have gf soy sauce but they had to go and check on every item that at first they thought was gluten free. For instance as always imitation crab meat is usually not gf and they were saying otherwise until we made her check the label and of course it had wheat starch. Sushi was very mediocre and still tasted somewhat frozen.. will not be coming back

Excellent sushi. Will carefully prepare GF sushi, omitting eel sauce, etc. Has GF soy sauce available.
