Fun local place! Great atmosphere and good food. They had a separate menu for GF/vegetarianvegan that was clearly marked. Our server, Hope, was amazing. I always feel better when they ask if it’s an allergy or a preference. I had the ceaser salad (no croutons ) with grilled chicken. I also had to try the red beans and rice, and cheese grits. All yummy. They have a full bar, a few small lawn games, you can even swim in the river while eating. We went at night, so they had candles to keep the Florida bugs away for outdoor seating and live music. Definitely want to go back during the day and check it out.

Swampy’s is a neat place on the water. The food is good, but a bit overpriced for what you get. I got chicken poppers grilled and mashed potatoes

Our waiter was new and didn't know if there was a gluten free menu or even what gluten was. I ordered the Mardi Gras chicken grilled with a side of mashed potatoes. The presentation was lacking. It was just grilled chicken bits with sweet and spicy sauce on the side. I didn't get sick but it wasn't worth going back again.

They have a gluten-free menu with many options including seafood, salads, chicken, and a good amount of sides to choose from. I’ll order the bourbon chicken with cheesy grits that are so good.
