Staff seemed knowledgeable and very kind, and marked my order as an allergy. They told me they have dedicated fryers (but I didn’t end up ordering anything fried).
The food was yummy—I tried the beef & broccoli, red curry noodles, and spam musuba. It was a treat to have dark Asian-style sauces that were gluten free, and I felt fine afterward!

UPDATE: I have gone to this restaurant a few more times since my original review and felt yucky afterwards so I haven’t eaten there again.
Original review:
We had a great meal at Swaylo’s! They have dedicated fryers for just gluten and for gluten free. GF Children’s options, vegan options. And it’s a fun environment! Drinks are also super yummy. Staff is knowledgeable about celiac!

While shopping for a truck we needed some sustenance. With gluten, dairy issues and some of us meat free as well it can be difficult finding a place. I happened upon this place! Everything marked GF or V clearly. And huge portions!
From the family: smoked octopus is tender and well seasoned. Vegan poke bowl is huge and yummy. Fried rice is also huge and good. Mahi-mahi ok. The fried calamari was gf and unusual to some. Not crispy. More on the soft side. Edamame was delish.
Food was ok. Nothing mimd blowing but the fact we can eat together with all of our different needs and a great, fun, kitschy atmosphere our 2 younger girls (14 & 18) said it was a really fun experience.

I had the spam musubi appetizer, the Blue Hawaiian rum beverage, and the Hawaiian poke rice bowl with extra kahlua pork. The rice for the spam musubi was dry and I didn't try the sauce that went with it. The poke bowl was amazing and very filling.
From what I understand, the sauce that came with the musubi wasn't gluten free?? I write that in question marks because the appetizer was labeled gf but the waitstaff seemed unsure. And the appetizer fries were also labeled gf but were fried in the same fryer?? I would feel confident and excited to go back again, but I would also get more clarification from the actual chef next time because I think they are owned by the Roost (and that restaurant seems to have a good track record with gf). Otherwise it was a good experience and the actually restaurant is very cool inside.

They take celiac seriously. I’ve eaten here twice and never had an issue.
