I absolutely love Sweet Basil! This is my husband and my date night destination every year when we come out to the valley for our family’s annual spring break ski trip. As a symptomatic celiac, I have dined here for years without an issue. The menu is not marked with GF options but staff are extremely helpful in informing me of which dishes are safe without major modifications. They are a from scratch kitchen, they take allergies very seriously. We recently dined here and enjoyed the Venison Tartare, lamb entree, and venison loin entree. They also made me a GF Caesar salad. Our waitress was amazing in guiding me to the safest choices based on her extensive knowledge of how everything is prepared and ways to minimize cross contamination while maintaining the integrity of the dish. Impeccable service. A forever favorite restaurant of mine in the valley. I do recommend a reservation even a few weeks in advance during peak ski season, as it is usually quite busy.

Fantastic food! Smaller menu but delicious dishes. Handled gluten free very well. Did not get sick, but I also am not celiac.

I did get food here and didn't get sick but it wasn't very good. Had a cheese dish that's tasted like handi-snacks cheese. Restaurant was trying too hard and not a very big menu.
