Great local restaurant in Savannah. My husband and I love to come here. I am gluten sensitive/intolerant and haven’t gotten sick here. I usually order the grilled pork chop, sweet potato fries, and green beans. They do typically put bread on my plate and sometimes you can ask for no bread but a lot of the time it’s another server just adding bread to plates that need bread. I have found that most of the servers are knowledgeable about gluten so that is extremely helpful.

Very local spot. Ambiance not a high point. Food splatter on the menus. But the biggest problem was even though items were marked GF, when I asked about cross contamination, the waiter asked the kitchen and came back and said “What exactly is gluten?” So even the cook didn’t know what gf meant. I didn’t get sick because I chose safe foods but I wouldn’t recommend or trust the menu.

My experience here was poor from beginning to end. The waitress was not knowledgeable about GF, and they put a biscuit on my plate after I specifically said not to. The food was not good, I won’t be back.

They do not have a gf fryer, but lots of tasty gf items on the menu. Had grilled shrimp, sweet creamy peas, and baked sweet potatoe. It was awesome! Best meal I've had in years.

The staff were not interested in answering any questions about gluten free options and overall appeared to be inconvenienced. I had a grilled chicken salad that showed up with the biscuit.

The last time (and it will be the time) I ate here, I explained I have celiac and to please take care when preparing my food. It came out with a biscuit touching all of my food. When I reminded the waitress that I absolutely cannot eat that, she rolled her eyes at me and angrily gathered up the plate and took it away. I was as nice as I could possibly be about it. I even APOLOGIZED for their mess up and told them I only didn’t want to get sick and gently explained how miserable it is to be glutened. I don’t think they re-prepared my food because I still got sick. This place should not be on this app. At all.

Great food. Watch out for biscuit on the plate. Waitress wrote down no biscuit but came with it. Only touched small area of chicken so didn’t eat chicken near there. So far no effects.

Many GF options. Salads and entrees. Sweet potato fries were fantastic! Staff were very knowledgeable. Manager/ owner very attentive. Had the black and blue salad with blackened shrimp. Sweet tea keeps coming. Fantastic Southern charm.
