This used to be completely safe for me, but they started making flautas, which shares the fryer with the chips, so now the chips are a no go. I've gotten sick every single time I have eaten here recently, which is a bummer because it's delicious. There's just too much cross-contamination in the small kitchen. I have celiac.

I’m Celiac. Personally I’ve never had a problem with cross-contamination here, even when I’ve ordered on busy nights. Food I think is pretty good (though a bit greasy depending on your order). I also like to order ahead through Uber eats where your can mark your allergies for most items.

Most regular tacos are GF and DF and served in a corn tortilla. Specialty tacos have more ingredients, so I avoid them.
I’ve been here a few times and they seem to take my no cross contamination/ gluten allergy request seriously. They did inform me the chips are fried in the same oil as gluten items. I usually stick to the traditional tacos. Pretty yummy overall! :)

Tasty tasty tasty. I’ve eaten at various Taco Bamba locations in northern Virginia for years and always had good experiences. This one is closest to my office and I eat here for lunch a few times a month and have never had issues. My favorite tacos are Al Pastor and Barbacoa. They have GF queso dip, which I appreciate. Their salsas are delicious. I’ve never been sick after eating at Taco Bamba. Tasty drinks at the bar, too. Especially the watermelon margarita when in season. Recommend. The line can get long at peak lunch, so online ordering is helpful.
