Taco Bamba

Most of their menu is GF and staff are knowledgeable. I think it would be great if Taco Bamba would go ahead and mark the GF menu items as such, however. The tacos are delicious. Recommend grabbing a seat at the bar and enjoying a margarita as well. Recommend.

Great tacos. You have to make sure you let them know about your allergy. But they are knowledgeable and safe. Can’t have everything but what you can have is pretty fire!!

Very friendly and excellent service. However, even though the menu can be made gluten free. That really means the taco ingredients can be put on shredded lettuce.

Staff was helpful, but there isn’t a dedicated fryer, so options were limited and chips were not an option!

Amazing menu options, amazing tacos, and amazing customer service!! I asked if they had a gluten free menu, and they told me that most of their menu is gluten free aside from a few options. But were able to walk through the menu with me to let me know what was safe, and were familiar with items sensitive to those with celiac, such as soy sauce or items that could contain hidden sources of gluten. They also changed their gloves and made sure to follow proper cross contamination prevention procedures. I would probably come back daily after my experience here today. You guys are awesome!!!

I’ve been here a few times and they seem to take my no cross contamination/ gluten allergy request seriously. They did inform me the chips are fried in the same oil as gluten items. I usually stick to the traditional tacos. Pretty yummy overall! :)

Be careful to emphasize gluten free and no contamination. The traditional tacos and chips have been safe for me as a celiac. Very tasty tacos - worth it.

Tasty tasty tasty. I’ve eaten at various Taco Bamba locations in northern Virginia for years and always had good experiences. This one is closest to my office and I eat here for lunch a few times a month and have never had issues. My favorite tacos are Al Pastor and Barbacoa. They have GF queso dip, which I appreciate. Their salsas are delicious. I’ve never been sick after eating at Taco Bamba. Tasty drinks at the bar, too. Especially the watermelon margarita when in season. Recommend. The line can get long at peak lunch, so online ordering is helpful.
