Great Queso! They had a separate fryer so chips were GF. Highly recommend getting the trio with queso, guac and salsa. Server was knowledgeable about gluten free. Not the best al pastor taco but the chicken bacon ranch was unique and excellent. Definitely recommend if you are a Celiac visiting Charleston!

Asked about gluten free options and they sent one of the servers over to me who also has celiac. She was able to recommend gf tacos which I ordered. Food came out and one of the tacos clearly was on a flour tortilla. Told the bartender I couldn’t eat the flour and she cut me off and just ran into the kitchen to bring back the taco on a corn tortilla. I had to explain that since the flour tortilla touched the corn ones I couldn’t have anything on the plate. So she had to go back a second time so the whole plate could be remade. Would not recommend for celiacs.

Ordered off of the gluten free menu, took one bite and knew it wasn't gluten free. I was sick within 30 minutes. Even if they were gluten free, better tacos can be found elsewhere.

The chips are not gluten free. The menu states Appetizers are served with chips that are cooked in the same oil as flour battered items. If you speak with Shaun he will help you out. They are working on a different fryer for future visits. Great service

Had two tacos with corn tortillas, chips, and guacamole. They were AMAZING and I didn’t have any sort of reaction at all. *The menu does state that they will be conscientious of food allergies, but they cannot guarantee a meal to be free of allergens. However, my meal was perfect!

Loved this place. Tacos were delicious. I couldn’t decide so I got three: chicken, carnitas and Americano (which was ground beef). I asked about the chips and was told they use a separate fryer for chips, so I tried them & didn’t get sick, so their fryer use must have changed from previous post that said they weren’t safe. They are also a lot less expensive than many of the other GF safe places in Charleston, which is a nice added benefit!

Amazing tacos!! Good sized gluten free menu. Waiter noted the gluten allergy and the manager brought over the food and reassured that my food was gluten free. Would come here again if I was a local, plus no reaction!

Gluten free menu. No separate fryer so chips and anything fried is out. But I had the most amazing tacos - steak, grilled chicken and grilled shrimp on corn tortillas were absolutely amazing! Manager came over, explained menu and made sure cooks knew. No reaction either!

There's not a TON to choose from, but you do get quite a few taco options (I order mine on corn tortillas), and they're delicious. Love the vibe here too...one of my favorite places to eat outside in Charleston!

Pretty busy and popular place but ended up only waiting about 15 minutes for a table at lunch when they said it could be up to a 35 minute wait. They have kind of an unofficial gluten free menu (just a laminated piece of white copy paper) but there were 6 types of tacos to choose from including chicken, beef, shrimp, and a vegetarian option. Not sure why the rice bowls were not included on the gluten free menu but I didn’t ask because I wanted tacos. I had one taco with grilled chicken, one carne asada taco, one roasted cauliflower taco, and the Americano taco which is your basic ground beef, lettuce, etc. I got them all on corn tortillas but you do have the option to get bib lettuce shells instead. All of the tacos were delicious, but I would say the Carne asada was my favorite! My margarita was also very good and they have a good selection of margarita options. Be sure to note the gluten free menu has appetizers with chips on it, but the menu also notes these are NOT fried in a dedicated fryer. I chose to not have any chips. I did not get sick, the service was great, and I love Tex Mex so I would definitely go back again!
