The waitress seemed to have no knowledge of what was and wasn’t gf. She told me I would know my level of sensitivity and if it was ok when I didn’t know what was in it for hidden ingredients. Everything is shared grill or fryer it seems. I thought I was safest with the soft tacos since they were not fried . Waitress said “you should be good.” After eating my husband heard another waitress telling someone they add flour to the soft tacos. Thinking I’m not going to be good in a few hours. Wouldn’t eat there again.

Food was AMAZING! Excellent knowledge about gf practices. I felt very safe eating here! Love the atmosphere and love that is open late. Flew in to Portland, ME. Our flight had been delayed 5 hours and most stores and restaurants were closed. So glad the were because we went to Taco Escobar. I can not recommend it highly enough.

I love this place, but it's very limited for Celiac folks. No GF menu and only non cross contaminated item is a burrito bowl. All taco options tortillas are grilled on the same grill, so cross contamination is high. If you like burritos, it's great

A small, very busy and festive environment that is worth the wait. The food here was amazing and the margaritas where full of mouth watering flavor!

This is a safe haven for celiacs (gluten free) and almost everything on the menu is gluten free with a handful of exceptions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.

I love this place. I will be dreaming about their enchiladas for years to come. Most of the menu can be GF. The chips are also safe! They are the first thing that they fry so they are safe. Sooo good.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in navigating food options! Extremely friendly! Many, many options and delicious food and drinks!

Yes

Staff informed me that they can make almost anything gf. They were extremely accommodating and prepared fried food especially for me in a separate pan. Food is awesome and I didn’t get sick.
