Very good tacos with corn. Drinks were ok. Bit pricy but can recommend. I have celiac and no pain after.

I used to love coming here, but I’m sorry to say things have changed since they have reopened. The wait staff didn’t understand celiac or gluten allergy, and took some explaining (in the past they were set up for this). They brought out our tacos all on one serving platter (with my husbands flour tortilla tacos). They did remake mine, but the quality has definitely dropped. I probably will skip this place in the future, or wait a while before trying again.

My partner and I ate at Taco Heads on a date night. I am a Celiac sensitive to cross contaimination and did not get sick.
Items on menu are not marked gluten free, but waiter was Knowledgeable even going back and asking the chief. I ordered a non gf item by accident (beef items are soaked in beer overnight) and waiter came back and told me I needed to pick another item. Good experience I would eat there again.

Owners were there to answer questions. Queso is not gluten free. Carnitas are not gluten free. They do use flour but tell them allergy and they will take separate precautions
Food tasted delicious!

Plenty of gluten free options and the food was good. Did not get sick. Service was really slow, so slow we almost left.
I was pretty nervous because of how relaxed the staff was about the food being gluten free “safe” for a celiac. However, I did not have a reaction and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend the brisket taco

My sensitive celiac husband also had the brisket tacos and corn chips and guacamole. He liked them. I got to share the corn chips and guacamole and it was yummy. Most of the staff was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free and if they couldn’t answer a question they went to find out. They were aware of cross contamination concerns. They also had a good cider. They also told us no carnitas, no tomatillo salsa and no queso.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and used a separate pan to cook my food. The food was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the brisket tacos. These were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The manager told me that the queso, carnitas, and tomatillo salsa are not gluten free. The red salsa is gluten free and tasty and you can order almost all of the tacos on a corn tortilla. The chips have a dedicated fryer so you can enjoy chips and guacamole. Very cute place, I will definitely be going back.
