TLDR: the food is delicious and is NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS. I full heartedly recommend Taj to anyone who isn’t trying to avoid Gluten. Everything on their menu is liked by the Ashland locals and visitors. The gluten free Naan is fabulous, and the menu lists a TON of options that say GF. But, this is not a dedicated Gluten free kitchen and their contamination protocol is probably enough for people who just have a Gluten intolerance, but to my fellow Celiac’s: this delicious food is sadly not safe for us. There is a note on their table menu that states that their Gluten Free options are still processed in the same kitchen and they cannot guarantee that anything will be truly gluten free. I ate there last night. the butter chicken was so good that I’m almost not upset by the fact that I am in so much pain suffering the gluten consequences today :(

Ate here twice while in town because it was the thing we liked most and is typically gluten free. They did offer gluten free naan. Me and my bf split butter chicken and naan the first time and it was good but wasn’t my favorite. The second time we split the Chicken Tikka Masala and naan and it was yummy! When we went the first time it was buffet time so they looked annoyed we wanted to order but I think that’s overall safer. Didn’t ask about cross contamination or anything. Would eat again.

Menu was clearly marked with lots of gf options. Gluten free naan was delicious! Menu states that the kitchen is not gluten free, but after eating all gluten free menu options, I had no reactions. Will return and eat again!

I eat here with my 3 celiac family whenever I pass through Ashland. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Vindaloo are both delicious. Papadams are naturally gluten free, and there’s even a gf naan option! I ate there yesterday before reading Find Me GFs reviews, so it’s possible the naan is cross contaminated, I’d check to make sure if you stop by. That being said, none of us have gotten sick. There is a disclaimer about cross contamination written on their menu, but my family has always had good luck here in the past 5+ years we’ve stopped by.

Buffet was clearly marked to know which items were gluten free. I think at least half of the options were. You can even special order GF naan which was delicious.
GF naan is wonderful. Food is great. knowledgeable and friendly.
Beware of the "gluten-free" naan! It is cooked right on the flour-coated walls of the same tandoori oven as the regular naan. The owner herself said she wouldn't recommend it for celiacs. My question is, why call it gluten-free if it's not? Should be called "low gluten" instead. Other than this, the food is quite good!
