Taliani Pastries Cafe

This was a lovely little find. It was one of the few bakeries open on a Sunday morning. Entire dedicated GF counter. Unfortunately they didn’t have any pastries when we visited at 9am in the morning. Plenty of cakes, which were delicious. Added bonus, they also offer dairy alternatives perfect for coffee. Rest of the family all enjoyed their pastries and bakes and fresh juice too. Staff were friendly and knowledgable.

This is a great place for coffee and pastries. The staff is very helpful and there are lots of glutenfree options to choose from. Coffee is great! You can sit at a table or have a quick espresso and maybe somethint take-away. Highly recommend on a visit to Rome if you need safe and glutenfree breakfast

YUMMY! So many options, I had a short bread pistachio pastry and an apple pie slice type thing - just so yummy (very sweet though). This is definitely a place where the locals go, very busy around 7:30 am with all the locals buzzing around which could make your experience stressful or authentic. The staff were classic grumpy men buuut they were helpful and even though not everything was linked gluten free the told me what section was gluten free (about half of the food was gluten free). I will be going back that’s for sure!

We loved having breakfast here. The pastries are incredible! Coffee was also good and they have lactose free which is a bonus

This is THE best glute free pastry shop I have ever been to - one could not tell the difference between GF and non-GF bakes because they were THAT good! The variety was fantastic and they even had GF croissants. It's most definitely worth a visit.

Had a GF tiramisu with lemon cream, and my partner had a non gf Paris Brest. Both were not fresh. Everything had a skin on it from being frozen and then thawing and sitting in a fridge. It was sickly sweet and I couldn’t taste any lemon. Overall was incredibly disappointing especially for the price we paid (19 euro for two treats and 2 coffees). I would avoid this place in the future.

This place is off the hook! You could have two different pastries everyday and still not run out of options.

I’ve been to several gf bakeries around Europe and this one is definitely one of the best.

i got the tiramisu and a puff pastry with strawberries. there was a lot to choose from but most were desserts instead of breakfast food i’d say. however the staff was knowledgeable and the prices were fairly cheap considering

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not everything was gluten free, but what was there was very obviously marked. There was a good selection of items! Pastries were great and the cappuccino I had was also excellent. There’s outdoor seating which is pleasant.

They have a lot of cakes, cookies, biscuit, and I tried a few, and it was delicious!! The bread like focaccia and bagels are NOT gluten-free, and they couldn’t offer any bread, so it was a little bit disappointed. But really nice for a coffee and biscuit , but not for breakfast, if you like to eat more bread

We were blown away by the gluten-free offerings. True, they have gluten-filled panini and pastries, but the majority of them were gf. Small place, full of locals - would recommend.

Delicious, wide variety of GF pastries. Also called Riccardo Taliani Banqueting on google maps. Went back for more. Had no issues with the food, they were careful about separating what is GF (which is most of the cafe). Very friendly staff and similarly priced to regular bakeries. Would definitely return.

Visited today with high hopes, but whilst many artisan pastries labelled gluten free they said they could not confirm no cross contamination for coeliacs. So didn’t risk it 😓

Taliani Cafe has a dedicated GF kitchen to bake all items so there is never risk of cross contamination. Their pastries are delicious!!
