I got sick unfortunately, the food was delicious though… I’m not very sensitive so they must have used gluten ingredients to make me sick, not just cross contamination.

Great food, great service, and had a gluten free menu on the table before I even sat down and mentioned my allergy. They had real GF desserts, like a large cheesecake, which is rather rare. Stellar servers bring new plates after each course too.
I have an extremely severe wheat allergy and know immediately when something has even trace amounts, so I can confirm that some of the not-explicitly-celiac’s-friendly options are sufficiently GF, such as the aforementioned cheesecake.

Very knowledgeable and we’re super careful. They have a GF menu, but if you’re Celiac there are only a few items you can order (no dedicated fryer, as an example, yet on GF menu anyway). That said, the food we had was absolutely delicious and I would absolutely return.

The food was SO delicious and the waiter we had was knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out what I could and couldn’t have as someone with celiac. They have a GF menu which is pretty extensive as well and I felt great after eating here (twice!).

This place is super accommodating for celiacs and their food is delicious. It’s one of my go to spots in Palo Alto. If you ask they will give you a gluten free menu and mark your order as celiac. I’ve never had any issues! Highly recommend.

Went here in January for my husband’s birthday since he loves Vietnamese food. He expected a hole in the wall, so was surprised by the white tablecloths. I’m not even the biggest fan of Vietnamese food, but everything we ordered (and shared) was excellent. We’re gluten-free due to Celiac disease, but there were only a couple of menu items we couldn’t have. Most were naturally gluten free or could be modified to be so. The best dish by far was the clay pot cod. I can almost taste it. So good! Will absolutely be back! It’s pricey in comparison to most Vietnamese restaurants, but affordable compared to most higher-end restaurants, if that makes sense.

We visited during COVID restrictions, so there was just one online menu.(no separate GF menu) Everything GF was clearly marked. I told the waiter we were gluten-free and they steered us towards safe GF options. Food came out super fast - it was like a banquet feast spread before us. Outdoor dining was required so they kindly offered to light the patio heater for us. Very attentive staff, good wine, and enjoyable evening.

Second time eating at Tamarine and very disappointed to be told that their fryer is NOT gluten free even though half of their gf menu is fried, including their noodles (and nowhere on the gf menu does it specify that their “gf” fried items are not actually gf). Be careful if you are celiac as some servers don’t tell you that important cross contamination information. I was wrongly informed my first time here!

Oh, GF friends!!! When was the last time you had a safe and DELECTABLE Asian dine out experience? Tamarine is an utterly exquisite white linen restaurant! I had lunch today: Dungeness Crab Glass Noodles and a side of Sake Mushrooms. I also ordered Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls as a starter, but in the end, I brought them back to my room for an afternoon delight. The noodle dish was perfect, sweet & salty stripped crab served over a lush bed of filament thin and well seasoned glass noodles that are smooth as, well, glass and ever so slightly cool as you bite into them. Wow! The Shi'itake Mushrooms are sauteed to a wondrously velvet texture -- not a limp morsel among them -- and served in a smooth gf soy and garlic sauce accompanied by a generous portion of Sugar Snap Peas, freshly prepared and lacking none of that crisp snap that makes them special! The two dishes together made a heavenly combination and deserved a perfect pairing of something white. I told my server what i didn't want and he suggested a wonderful Sancerre. Nailed it! The wine and spirits menu is equally as magical as the food! Added Bonus: No one throws you any shade about your GF needs. Definitely worth a visit to Palo Alto just to experience Tamarine!

The restaurant is well trained in gluten free food preparation and the staff are incredibly careful. I ordered a dish to go to bring home to my gluten-eating partner and two different waiters came to tell me it was not gluten free! They have a great selection of delicious food and it’s a lovely restaurant for a nice dinner out.

Gf menu. Super knowledgeable waiter. I also have shellfish allergies and they were careful with that.

Dedicated gluten free menu with excellent food. Eaten here multiple times with no issues

They have a GF only menu which is extensive and very good. Even with the menu, be sure to identify if you have Celiac disease. Waiters are terrific, knowledgeable and will guide you away from anything that might be risky for cross contamination. I've eaten here many times and have always been happy and never been exposed to gluten sfaik.

went for our anniversary dinner, they had a nice cats and some cookies waiting for us (not gluten free, but my husband enjoyed them) great menu and the staff is very considerate.
Great and safe food -- personnel went out of their way to explain to me which dishes of the communal table were gluten-free, and made additional dishes for me if the pickings were slim. Very recommendable; this is actually the second time I was here and stayed completely healthy!
Yes
Tasty food, but better to make a reservation, even on a weekday evening (fortunately, they managed to squeeze in our group of four at a communal table). I had the cumin rice crackers for an appetizer, then combined the basil tofu and garlic-fried rice for my main (and had enough food to take half of it home!).
