Tasty tacos and margaritas. Staff seemed very confident in telling me that almost all tacos were gluten free, with the mole sauce being the exception.

Gluten free fryer (fried yucca, plantains, and house made tortillas chips). I stopped eating here as often because I’ve gotten sick from cross contamination a few times. When I do eat here I get the quesadilla taco, shrimp taco and chips/guac which has been been consistently safe so far.

Loved that we were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. After learning it was our first time eating here, our host gave us a comprehensive rundown of the menu, crowd favorites, and let us taste test each of the beverages (all of which were tasty and could easily become a fresh cocktail).
They have the sampler option, with five mini tacos, or you can order them individually for $3.50+.
Highlights: the horchata, the homemade corn tortillas, the barbacoa taco, the shrimp taco, and of course the fact that almost was gluten free for me to enjoy. Our host did state the mole was not gluten free.
I will definitely be a frequent regular customer!

Update: They have a non Gf tres leches cake on the menu that is made in house. Which means their kitchen is not completely GF. I have eaten here 3 times, the first two times I did not get sick and the last time I did. Would not recommend to anyone very sensitive to cross contamination.

This is my first review of any of the Portland GF restaurants. FYR: I ordered through Grubhub. As soon as the food arrived, I literally called the restaurant to make sure the tortillas and chips were legitimately gluten free, because omg! Pending a reaction tomorrow (will update if so), it’s addictive stuff! The meat is also extremely tender and not over or under spiced. I’m a HUGE yucca fan and theirs is as good as my favorite place back east in DC! Overall....yes! Buy all the foods from them. 🤓

Owner stated that they are gluten sensitive themselves. No gluten ingredients used for any of the food. The only gluten in the entire restaurant is the beer.
Lunch/Dinner tacos are guisado-style. There are many varieties available including Chile Rellenos! They also offer three breakfast taco flavors that are served all day, which is what I tried. They are excellent-wonderful flavor! The tortillas are house-made corn tortillas and have excellent flavor and texture. Size of the tacos are about average, just the right size in my opinion. Very generous on the fillings, I don't think I could manage to eat more than two tacos. The tacos were served with green and red salsas, both of which were very flavorful and tasty! Will visit again for sure!

All food item in the restaurant are gluten free; no glutenous ingredients, however, they do serve beer which is not gluten free. Owner stated he was gluten sensitive.
Tortillas are housemade corn tortillas and have excellent flavor and texture. We tried the breakfast tacos-one of each flavor. The breakfast tacos had very generous filling with great taste. Not terribly large, but not terribly small either. Just right and very filling. The tacos were served with green and red salsas on the side. Both salsas are very flavorful and good. The lunch/dinner tacos are guisado-style and there are many options to choose from.
