We loved this coffee shop. They have a clearly marked GF menu with GF bagels, muffins, macaroons and more. They have a breakfast and lunch menu that has tons of GF, vegetarian and vegan options. Big fan!

Not GF!!!! had to pull off hwy 40 mins after eating and spent 7 hrs in ER. Not gluten free.

Not for Celiacs or NCGS. Cute place! Local! Nice staff! But they can’t tell you if the coffee and teas are GF. They assume they are. Some items may be naturally GF but they are prepared beside the gluten items. I have NCGS and had a stomach ache before I ended my Kale Salad. My daughter is Celiac and her stomach started hurting 30 minutes after eating. Unfortunately a GF menu is not enough. And I think they make assumptions but things like coffee beans and nuts, etc. are gluten-free, they don’t understand that crops like tea coffee nuts may be naturally gluten-free, but cross contamination is very likely.

Best find in a long time! Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Chicken salad sandwich was amazing~ fresh fruit side. Relaxing atmosphere. I’ll be coming here weekly for sure!

My husband and I were very pleased with our superb Americanos today at this wonderful place in downtown Hickory. Comfortable atmosphere featuring local art and literary works and lots of separate and comfortable places to enjoy the food, coffee and WiFi. We shared a simple turkey and chicken gluten-free sandwich, also good. Definitely would return if we make it back to Hickory.
