Great food! Original menu with lots of gluten free options (I don't have celiac's)

What a great find !! Food is some of. The freshest fish and the other ingredients. Small piece of heaven.

1-the owner monitors the Facebook page/messages and responded quickly to my inquiry about GF options. He instructed any guests to alert the cashier of allergen, so that the chef could sanitize surfaces and modify any ingredients (i.e. Tamari in place of soy). His response was fairly lengthy! (I've pasted it at the end of my review.)2- we arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday, and the owner happened to be there. He flagged the GF order for the chef (I ordered the Kailua pulled pork & cabbage with white rice $6.) he reminded the other cashier to be sure to note the allergen status on similar orders using the POS terminal.3 - meal was good, fun to try a new cuisine and to eat at a family business.Owners response: "Our kalua pig and cabbage can be done with tamari to make it gluten free along with our saimin soup dishes, which we are bringing back this weekend, and can substitute glass noodles. I know our beef broth and veggie broth are gluten free, there is hydrolized wheat in our chicken broth. Our grilled mahi can be cooked in a sanitized pan. All of our gravies are thickened with corn starch. All of our teriyaki have soy sauce as a base in their marinades. There are options, just need to let cashier know about the allergen so they can properly convey the message to the cook who will have to sanitize all cookware needed for the task (tongs, saucepans...etc)."
