Great selection. Knowledgable staff. Loved the fried pickles and turkey burger. The only place I've been able to find turkey burger that's truly GF. Plus the GF buns are great.
More options than most places and the food is great! Have had good experiences!
I always make sure to talk to the manager first and never go if it is crowded. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences going here.

Whether you are gluten free or not this restaurant is just bad. They listed fries as gluten free and then the manager came out and told me there is no dedicated fryer. That's not gluten free then! My steak was not good and our drinks were awful. Everything is overpriced.
I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I was so enthused by their gluten free choices until I ordered a flat bread. The waitress seemed very attentive to my allergies and I was so excited. (Although, the menu is confusing. It has the gluten free symbol near items that are naturally gluten free and that can be altered to be so you have to be careful). Long store short, my gluten free pizza had a sauce with gluten in it although I ordered it without. Then the manager and waitress proceeded to argue with me about the sauce instead of correcting their error. NOT celiac friendly. NOT compassionate.
Decent menu. Blah food. The turkey burger was overlooked and the broccoli was cold in the middle and hot on the outside. Nothing appears to be made fresh. There are much better choices all over Burlington.

Our waitress did state their fryer was not dedicated and cross contamination was likely. For that reason, we did not try as many of the options as we may have otherwise. However, our food and drinks were great. And despite the fryer issue there were still plenty of options to choose from.
I had a great experience here. We went as a group of four (3 of us have celiac and one eats gluten free to prevent the rest of us getting contaminated) and ordered fried calamari, crab fritters, pizza, and two sandwiches. Everything was DELICIOUS and nobody had any reaction.
My 11-year old son has celiac disease so we found Tavern in the Square on the Find Me Gluten Free app. We were visiting Salem for the day and needed a place for lunch for our party of 6. The gluten-free menu options were extensive, my son was thrilled to try onion rings for the first time. We all loved our meal, our server was attentive to the gluten-free needs of my son, our food was hot and delicious. Great place to eat with lots of gluten-free options.
The menu is extensive with so many choices you just don't typically find gluten-free. The fried pickles were delicious, as were the turkey tips and avocado steak salad. Our trio agreed it was one of the best gf meals we've had! And the staff was fun, accommodating and knowledgeable. We'll be looking to come back some day.
Our server had excellent knowledge of what was GF and when she wasn't sure she checked. 90%of the menu is GF or can be adapted great location and atmosphere. A++!!!
I was really excited to go here. After a long trip with no gf options available I was ready for a big meal. I talked to the server about my intolerance (extremely sensitive celiac) and they seemed to know what they where doing. I was so happy I decided to order and angry orchard cider while waiting for my food. The drink came out and without thinking I took a quick gulp from the cup... It was beer.....iv been sick for a week now... Thanks guys! ..... I hope this business does a better job in the future of educating their staff on celiac disease and how to bring cider to those who order it .... Great food but if you're a celiac watch out!!
I had a great meal here after arriving at North Station en route to a destination with questionable GF options. Everyone I interacted with (hostess, server, manager) was extremely knowledgable about gluten free options and cross contamination and it's clearly something they take seriously. I had a more in-depth conversation with the manager, Sal, about kitchen practices and he inspired a lot of confidence. Plus, lunch was delicious. (I had the Southwestern BLT with sweet potato fries.) Definitely worthy of a return visit next time I'm in the area!
This place has an EXTENSIVE GF menu! So there are a ton of choices. Also, you can get French fries, sweet potato fries, tator tots, fried pickles, onion rings -- all the tasty fried foods that you typically cannot get! We had a burger & fries and it was great. Everyone loved their meals (steak tips, turkey tips, etc.). I would have given this place 5 stars but the one GF dessert which was the Greek Yogurt Brûlée was awful. We ordered 2 for the table and out of 7 people No One liked it. It was bad -- just like eating some Greek yogurt from the supermarket. So I don't recommend doing GF dessert there -- other than that everything was very good (drinks, appetizers, entrees and service). So all they need to do is offer a better GF dessert and this place would be 5 stars!
This is our go-to when eating out with our Celiac kids for special occasions. It's a little pricey, but so worth it! GF chicken fingers are fresh and juicy, GF fish and chips are amazing, GF fried calamari - where else can you find that?! Service has been slow on occasion. Bartenders (when we've been sans-kids) are awesome. Just for the food options and quality, this place deserves 5 stars!
Manager typically serves. Can have several things- and breaded! They have everything but pasta. Service has really gone down hill here over the past year or so- as has the regular menu. I've had almost everything on the menu and I'm never disappointed. Just wish they would add pasta so I could enjoy their Mac and cheese! Note: pizza is just Udi's. Which the waitress happily checked on for us.
I had a horrible experience and will never go back. I ordered the quinoa bowl and informed my waitress that I am celiac and am gluten free. My food arrived covered with something that was shredded and looked deep fried. I asked the waitress what it was. She told me she thinks it is onions or carrots. I asked her to find out for me. We waited atleast 10 min for her to come back. When she finally came back i asked her again and she said she does not know but it is ok because she told the kitchen I was gluten free. I asked for the manager. He offered to bring me something else. But I just sent it back. I was no longer comfortable eating there. They have gluten free on the menu but I do not feel they take it seriously.
