Please know that many items are stored IN BUTTER (steak, vegetables). Server was very helpful, but make sure you communicate your allergy, ask questions.

Union St. is now owned by the Tavern in the Square people - the menu is literally the same. I go to Tavern all the time and had no idea this was the case when I showed up here - pleasantly surprised! Totally celiac friendly. Manager brings out all GF food and 90% of the menu is GF anyway.

Great GF fish & chips! They have a separate fryer, so you can have GF fries onion rings whatever you want. It was really yummy. They also have gluten-free hamburger rolls.

I saw the great reviews for this place on this app but was quickly disappointed when my friend pulled them up on Yelp and they only had three stars. We read the reviews and all of the bad reviews had to do with awful customer service (not food). We began looking elsewhere to eat but decided to maybe give this place a shot.

I am so glad we did. The customer service, wait time, etc was not an issue whatsoever. The food was AMAZING. We started with gluten free homemade potato chips with onion dip and gf clam chowder. Both incredibly delicious. For my entree I had the gf fish and chips and substituted the gf onion rings instead of the fries. My fried fish was so good I forgot it was gluten free. I couldn't eat everything. The manager even hand delivered all of the gluten free plates (their policy) and I wasn't even charged for subbing the onion rings.

You will not regret coming to this place. Besides many gf entrees, they have gf pizza crust, gf buns for burgers, and gf bread for their sandwiches. This has been the best food of my 11 day vacation!!

I was thrilled to see how much Union Street has changed their menu from years past. It is now super gluten-free friendly. Almost every item on the menu is gluten-free! Their fryers are all gluten-free and use only GF batters so you can enjoy onion rings, french fires, chicken fingers, fish and chips and more! The only other place I have found where I can enjoy these foods is Legal Seafoods - and Union Street is much more reasonably priced! It is also nice to be able to share dishes with friends who are gluten-eaters. Great job Union Street!!

Lots of gf options and staff was very knowledgeable. The gf bun didn't hold up well against my juicy burger, but that's my only complaint.
