I went to Taverna pretty excited to be able to get a decent-size gluten-free italian menu and wasn't disappointed. I'm celiac but don't get sick, so I can't speak to cross contamination, but the waiter was knowledgeable enough to help me out with questions. He also waived the two dollar upcharge for the bread (which still isn't listed on the gluten free menu, so in some ways it was the right thing to do). The food tasted delicious, and I'd definitely go back next time I'm in Ausin. Food-wise, rich, tasty, and delicious. The gluten free foccacia seems to be a commonly found gluten free pizza crust that they've customized, but it's very good still and has their own touch to it.
