Service was a bit slow, but the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Almost everything they make is gluten free, and the fryers are dedicated. Additionally the house manager (I believe) is Celiac and ensures the staff knows about cross contamination.

Finally, a good Mexican spot in Rochester 🙌🏼 and most of the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free! The enchiladas, ceviche and queso fundido were delicious. Chips however are fried with other items so not safe. I got the guac with soft corn tortillas though!

Delicious and almost entirely GF (only a few dishes had flour tortillas). Excellent sauces, great flavor

TAVOS is avid in supporting all individuals that come to our establishment. We strive to focus on our customers needs with our menu items. We offer options not only for the gluten-free community but vegan, vegetarian and those with food allergies (nuts, dairy etc). Our menu will soon be updated to list items that are gluten-free or that have cross contact and other dietary needs. PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR SERVER/BARTENDER ABOUT YOUR GLUTEN-FREE NEEDS.
TAVOS has a dedicated kitchen space and utensils for gluten-free items and a dedicated gluten-free fryer. Food items are listed on our orders as gluten free and our waiters/waitresses are very knowledgeable regarding menu items to ensure that you receive what you order.

Authentic Mexican cuisine from the Pacific coast in Jalisco, Mexico. With over 33 yrs in the restaurant community as the original El Rincon Mexicano in Sodus, 20 yrs plus Rio Tomatlan, Canandaigua, we are happy to introduce into the city of Rochester TAVO'S ANTOJITOS Y TEQUILA. .

We have parking on the side of the building and there is an adjacent lot with plenty of spaces. We currently are not taking reservations. It is on a first come first serve basis. Our outside seating will be coming soon.

Such amazing food and the tacos and tortilla are all corn. Corn corn corn! Such spices such amazing flavors! I've eaten at the other locations associated with this restaurant empire and it does not disappoint
