Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

Great food, but they did NOT understand gluten free. My shrimp platter came out with a pita chip, and when I said something the reply was "it's just one." What?! I needed to eat, so I explained in detail that they needed to change gloves, have a clean work surface, not touch any gluten, etc. I hate having to be "that customer" just to not get sick. They remade my food and it was delicious. Be careful here.

Visited twice. Both times I talked to owner about Celiac Disease and the importance of them not cross contaminating my food. Both times my green salad had one or two pieces of pasta. Brought to owners attention, both times he apologized, but it didn't seem to stop them from doing it again.

I love Tazikis! The salmon, rice, salad, & cucumber salad are to die for. Highly recommend 😊

Celiac friendly?

Yes

The staff seemed unsure of what was gluten free, which surprised me. I ordered a gluten free Greek salad with chicken and it was served to me with pita tucked underneath. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was there until I'd eaten half of the salad. When I asked for a new one they apologized and made a new one, which was great, but I'm disappointed they weren't more careful.

VERY GOOD MENU SELECTION, EXTREMELY TASTY SEASONING AND MORE THAN A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF DELIGHTFUL ITEMS.

We loved this place. Everything on their menu was gf except bread, pasta and dessert. Salmon and shrimp was amazing. Fresh salads. Highly recommend. They marked everything as gf and we had no issues!!

Great! This is a fast casual style place. The items that can be made gluten free are marked on the menu, so make sure to say, "Gluten free, please!" when ordering. I got the Mediterranean salad with no pita chips and added salmon. It was really good. I'll be coming back to try the other items soon, so I'll update then! There are also vegetarian and vegan options if you're interested in that.

Taziki's is my go-to for a Mediterranean salad with grilled salmon - there is a menu option to make it GF and hold the pita. They also have GF options for veggies to go with their hummus, for example.

I go with the steak or salmon feast with no pita. The Mediterranean salad and rice are good.

The olive souffle is good, too (just a cup of olives, but they're so good!)
