Teddy's By the Sea

Teddy’s has come a long way since they first opened. I am here often and have never gotten sick. They always do a great job being safe when preparing a meal if you tell them you have an allergy. For gluten free I would stick with the Salmon, salmon tacos, or a salad and I always stick to the green beans as a side.

I ordered what they considered to be the safest thing in the menu. Still got glutened.

There were a handful of things that were supposedly gluten-free. No great effort seems to have been made to provide options for the sake of options.

I went to dinner and explained I have celiac. The waitress was knowledgeable explained that they had a few options that are gluten free but they do have a small kitchen so they cannot promise that cross contamination won’t happen. They modified my meal, but it still came out with gravy on the side that got on my plate. They remade my meal, but than I ate after everyone else. I might try it again and just have a lettuce wrap sandwich or salad. We will see.
