Hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, and sausages are gluten free. They also have Udi's gluten free buns. If you ask them to change their gloves, they will, but since they generally have young kids working there, you have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't handle gluten again before your food. Sometimes they will have a gluten free side like potato salad, but most of the time I can't eat sides there. I also don't get condiments because the knives they use touch rolls and then go back into the containers. I put my toppings on at home. You can eat here but just have to be very careful.

I don’t know what rolls they use but they’re AWFUL. The roll is tough-like and isn’t worth the extra charge.

Server put on clean gloves before opening my bun. Seemed to be knowledgeable about celiac.
They do offer gf buns, but no sides available to eat. Also, cross contamination real problem, especially with the condiments they use on the food in the kitchen
No
They say their hotdogs are gluten free, but they do not have dedicated equipment and cook gluten on the same thing that they put the hotdogs on!! Big time cross contamination!
Nothing like a char grilled hot dog with chili on a gf bun. Wish they had some gf sides though.
Love the buns! Haven't had a hotdog in a bun in years. Enjoyed every bite! Thanks. Any chance of GF onion rings?
So nice to see a great locally owned establishment making accommodations for their GF customers offering Udi's buns. Hot dogs are chargrilled & tasty! Chili is gluten free, too; however they do not have a dedicated fryer for their French fries :(
FYI: Make sure to remind them to change gloves before handling your individually wrapped bun.
I found that Ted's is generally pretty safe you just can't have anything fried due to a shared fryer. But other than that for me the workers have been great about keeping my food separate from gluten and I have had no problems with Ted's Hot Dogs. I highly recommend.

I had something that didn’t make me feel like I was denying myself of a real treat for the first time in a very long time. My family took me to Ted’s Hot Dogs, to celebrate something that only the 3 of us could appreciate as a day in our lives that we are hoping to remember forever. I had a great Hot Dog just like the good old days and I didn’t have to worry about being sick when I got home. A GLUTEN FREE HOT DOG.

Tried to eat here and after ordering, they let me know fries were cross contaminated and all hotdogs buns are cooked on the SAME grill!! There’s nothing gluten free about this restaurant at all. They don’t even try to take precautionary measurements! If you’re in the Buffalo area and you want a hotdog, go to Franks! Everything there is SAFE!

My 13 year old daughter ordered a cheeseburger. As we were walking up to the counter I heard the cook to tell one of the other employees to change their gloves. She would be responsible for handling my daughter’s food from start to finish. It’s now been 4 hours and my daughter is healthy. In regards to options. She cannot have any of the fried foods but she can have a hotdog or hamburg. She said it was very good. You know coming from a teenager, that’s really a compliment.
