There are a limited number of options for celiacs but they are labeled on the menu clearly and the staff did an excellent job handling my restrictions. I ordered grilled salmon tacos in a lettuce wrap and was able to request that they be made in a pan instead of the grill. The server was especially well-informed, particularly when I asked about tortilla chips in the fryer. The fryer is shared; the corn tortilla chips are fried in fresh oil each morning before everything else, which might be suitable for folks with an intolerance but not celiac; I avoided them just in case but felt well-informed. I gave the server a card from the Gluten Intolerance Group to give to the chefs indicating what a celiac can’t have and the server mentioned he really appreciated that. The manager brought out my meal, which reassured me that they’d taken the restrictions seriously. The tacos came out in wooden taco stands which are also used for meals with gluten-containing tacos, but I didn’t have a reaction.
