They have a lot of gf choices! The food is great and I've never had any problems
What took me so ling to try this place?! Oh my goodness. Definitely one of the best options in Bergen County. It's a classic diner with a quality twist that includes more gluten friedly options than average. They do have a disclimer on their menu that they do not have a diledicated kitchen space. So not Celiac friendly. For folks like me who are merely sensitive or choosing to keep gluten intake to a minimum....this place rocks! They offer grass fed burgers and steak! They have some organics as well. Real maple syrup for pancakes. So many things to be excited about if you are a holistic health human like me. I had a french onion burger that was positively delicious and split an order of healthy french toast ( gluten free ) w the fam. It was some of the best I've had. Also, my family was very satisfied with everything they ordered. The service wasn't very good, but the options on the menu, the quality, freshness, and flavor of the food makes up for it. Prices here are fair considering the quality.
My experience so far which has been once. Has been great! The person I spoke to yesterday was knowledgeable and made sure everything I ordered was okay and not going to make me sick. I'm so happy my favorite diner has a gluten free menu now!
Yes
The waiter had no knowledge of the GF items listed on the menu or if they were cooked and prepped separately in the kitchen. Upon speaking with the manager, she informed me that none of the menu is safe for celiacs and that they would not are prepare items in a separate pan(pancakes, eggs, etc) for me. Do NOT eat here if you have an allergy or Celiac disease.
No
Ordered off the gf menu, got severe celiac poisoning -- vomiting all night. Staff was unhelpful and unsympathetic. Not safe for celiacs
No
Despite finding out that they do have gluten-free items, when I called the diner they specifically told me that they do not have separate cooking surfaces for gluten-free foods. All food is cooked on common surfaces and therefore this is horrible for gluten intolerant, gluten sensitive and people with Celiac disease. Please avoid this diner if you fit into any of those categories.
unfortunately there are no safe choices for CELIACs. They use one surface for everything. Worst yet the owner was beyond rude and kept pointing to the disclaimer on the 'gf' menu.

My husband took me here as a treat, since the entry here and on their Web site says they have a number of gluten free choices. When we arrived, I asked the histess if they had a gluten free menu. She hesitated and said they don't have as many offerings that are gluten free, such as the pancakes and French toast. Bummer! That was what I had planned on for breakfast! They still evidently have GF pizza, but despite the sign on the wall and listings on the menus, they do not have GF bread or wraps. Not sure about the pasta. The hostess also explained that the GF pancakes and French toast had been cooked on the same griddle as the regular offerings. She apologized for the posted misinformation, and I did enjoy a breakfast platter with two eggs over easy, home fries, and turkey bacon. Just thought I would mention this evidently recent change in their offerings in case someone was getting their tastebuds set for GF pancakes or French toast here.
yummm
My mom gives the gluten-free French Toast the thumbs-up. They have gluten-free pancakes and waffles as well. They have white and whole grain gluten-free bread for sandwiches. Staff showed real concern that people not get anything that might make them sick.
