The food was sooo good. I had the steak and cheese arepa. Everything tasted amazing. It came out very hot. Although the serve it sandwich style instead of pocket. So a little messy.
And the woman working was able to answer all of my questions. Do double check the yucca fries. She said that sometimes they keep the fryers separated. Today they had just one fryer, so I was out of luck. But she was able to warn me, which i appreciate. And honestly one arepa was more than enough food.
It's in the mall, but right inside the food court entrance, so easy to get to.

Went back recently and want to up by review to 5* the avocado chicken arepa was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had.
We love Arepas. These are good, not the best. 4* out of 5. But given the next closest arepa place is Woodbridge and then Harrisonburg, we will be back.
They also have cachapa -sweet corn pancakes. It was served to go and so not super hot when we finally got to eat it. The cheese wasn't as melted as I would like.
The yucca is great. I think it may actually be fried and I didn't check about the fryer since normally its baked. The yucca is cut into strips closer to a mozzarella stick than the Peruvian yucca I'm used too. Its creamier inside and textured closer to a french fry inside. You don't get the crispness. Its not a problem, I just think its good to be prepared for something different.
The staff was patient and friendly. While the cheese isn't melted and stuff isn't crisp its a food court in the mall so the goal is to be fast and I think they've made good trades of just a bit of texture for speed.
We didn't get their empanadas on this visit but they are traditional Venezuelan ones and all corn and gluten free.
I didn't see what happened in the kitchen but they do have a separate panini press up front on the counter so I do think they can accommodate even the strictest celiac if you take the time to talk with them.

Gluten free Venezuelan cuisine: Arepas, Empanadas. A couple items available that are not gluten free (churros, tequenos), but overall, delicious!
