Given the high ratings this place had gotten, we were very disappointed with our experience. I got the spinach-mushroom enchiladas and my friend got the shrimp enchiladas. We also got a side of guacamole. The guacamole was tasteless—it didn’t even taste like avocado. Only lots of Tabasco and salt redeemed it. The good points: the mushrooms were portobello and were delicious, and my friend said the shrimp were also excellent. The rest of the food was mediocre to bad. The best my friend could say about the enchilada sauce was that it was “wet.” The rice was flavorless and the refried beans tasted burnt. My friend said that the chips were unimpressive as well.

I appreciate that the restaurant is savvy about gluten issues, but I expect the food to also taste good. That was not the case in our experience.

Had a delicious and safe meal here! My server was knowledgeable about gluten free options and suggested the enchiladas, which are made with corn tortillas and baked. They were excellent! Only negative was that their chips are fried with other battered items, so those were off limits.

Great Mexican food. They did not have a gluten free menu, but the server and kitchen were knowledgeable and helpful. Options included enchiladas, fajitas, and some entrees. Was advised that there was a risk of cross contamination with the tortilla chips, so did not eat them.
