Teriyaki Madness

Gluten free was clearly marked on the menu but other than there wasn't a lot that made me super confident in safety of gf food. The people working there definitely didn't have a great sense of how safe things were though they did let me know anything in the fryer wouldn't be safe, and, when I pressed, that they had separate tongs. I ordered anyway due to previous good reviews but I'm not sure I would go back.

They got my order wrong so I wasn't able to eat it (I can't do spicy and they gave me the spicy chicken by mistake). My husband said the chicken was ok but "not that good" and that the veggies (he had the broccoli only) didn't taste good either--tasted like frozen broccoli and lacked seasoning. We won't be back.

Yummy! Stopped here on our way to Truckee, their teriyaki sauce is gluten free and is absolutely delicious! I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and veggies and didn’t have any reaction. I will be back!

I do not have Celiac, but my partner does. She loves the teriyaki bowl with extra white rice, veggies and extra teriyaki. It is hard to find good gluten free teriyaki and this restaurant puts all others to shame. Lovely staff and a cute area too!

Ordered online through Grubhub. Gluten free is listed on the menu in restaurant and there's an allergen list, most all the dishes when served with rice are gluten free and DELICIOUS! The chicken teriyaki bowl has a delicious char to it.

This is one of my safe spots! I love their spicy teriyaki chicken and fried rice. They have their menu labeled for all gf options. I have never gotten sick from it (celiac). Love it!

I have eaten here a few times since it opened. GF options are listed on menu. They have a gf appetizer on menu. The staff seems knowledgeable about gf options. Not sure if it's celiac friendly.

After a lot of research, I decided to try Teriyaki Madness. They claim that their Teriyaki sauces are house-made and are GF. I had read online that others had issues with cross-contamination when eating the stir fry veggies, so I went with the Teriyaki chicken bowl over fried rice and no veggies. I made sure to go during a non-busy time. I told them that I am celiac and asked if they could make mine in a clean wok, which they were happy to do.

The bowl was very good and I did not get sick! Since then, I have eaten the dish (both regular and spicy) several times and have had zero issues. They are not a dedicated kitchen, and some staff aren't familiar with celiac or gluten. When I run across that, I just ask for the manager so they can make sure the meal is prepared safely.
