Review of Terrace Wine Bar

I got the lobster fries here. The server said that the lobster was naturally gluten free and that the fries were made in a dedicated frier. I asked for no cheese curds because I’m dairy free as well. I told the server I have a severe gluten allergy and she clarified with me asking whether or not it was celiac. She wrote down that I have celiac disease and said that she’d share it with the kitchen staff. The portion was simply fries, lobster, and an aioli. I asked if the preparation area where my portion would be made was near a lot of gluten sources and the server said that she didn’t believe so and that they would sanitize the area and tools they used to make my meal, regardless. While the fries were delicious I am now experiencing VERY CLEAR glutening symptoms. I picked the fries because I figured not much can go wrong if they’re made in a dedicated frier, unfortunately I was wrong. Based on this experience I would not trust this establishment to provide a safe, gluten free meal.
