Updating my review because after 2 years I reattempted eating here after seeing posts of a dedicated fryer. This is a lie! One of the waitresses was finally honest with me and told me there’s two fryers and while one is supposed to be dedicated it’s not. Sometimes it is but she told me honestly it mostly isn’t. The chef uses it frequently for non gluten free dishes so you need to ask if it’s safe every single time you go. It is no safe to eat here. Other waitresses did not know this information when I had started going again and claimed it was a dedicated fryer when it is in fact not.

There’s a good amount of options but they just aren’t safe.

The food tastes good but not celiac safe. I constantly double check everything and make sure every waiter knows I have celiac. Went here for months and eventually it came to light that after all my times asking and double checking, multiple things were in fact made in a shared fryer. Either the wait staff just straight out lied or had so minimal an understanding of what gluten free means that they genuinely thought the chips and other items were safe for me. Either way, multiple items labeled gluten free aren't actually so it makes me question what else isn't actually safe that's labeled as safe.

Fantastic! Many many choices on the menu with everything clearly labeled as GF. Started with delicious bowl of chili and finished with chicken & Beef fajitas. Update another DELICIOUS meal 1/31/2020: Texas Tuna app, and Hawaiian Butterfish special. Don’t forget happy hour 5-7 ($5 drinks). Note the GF Corn chips have a dedicated fryer!!

We have been coming here for years with our kids, one of whom was just diagnosed with celiac. They confirmed to me that the fryers are dedicated and there are a lot of gluten free options on the menu. They also assured me that they are careful about cross contact. So glad to have a restaurant we love that we can keep coming to with our little one! They also have the best margaritas.

First time I ate here I had the chili entree (I forget the menu name). It was so good, I recommended to a friend. He too couldn’t believe how awesome it was. If you’re not gluten-free, definitely get it with the cornbread. The next time I ate here I got the fajitas. They were bland. How do you serve bland Mexican food. Totally disappointing. As far as celiac safe goes, I’m not sure. Hopefully.

Service was wonderful. Food was very flavorful, there were 4 of us and we all agreed this was a must return to spot. The menu is extremely gluten free friendly, with everything labeled as such (I have celiac and will return with confidence). The atmosphere is, in my eyes, perfect. The dinning room is not huge, making the noise level low, but very comfortable in the spacing between tables. I would recommend reservations for large groups. I'm excited to have found this gem and can't wait to go back!!!

While I truly appreciate a menu that specifically states what's gluten free, in this situation, it's more harm then help. This restaurant says that their tortilla chips and nachos are gluten free, and it's not true. The tortilla chips are fried in house in a non-dedicated fryer. The waitress (via the manager) confirmed this. When I asked why it was stated gf on the menu, she said it's because the cross contamination would be minimal and they've never had a complaint. I completely disagree with having a menu state that something is gluten free when it clearly is not. Besides that, the food really was not very good.
