We got take out. When I ordered they told me they use soy sauce in all the fried items and that the only three dishes that were gluten free were the green, red, and yellow curries. They each are made with coconut milk. I asked if they could make sure people wash their hands or change gloves before touching my food and use clean utensils and surfaces for its preparation to prevent cross contamination. He said it should be fine because it’s prepared separately from the other dishes. He said he l was very busy (it was 11:30 am when we ordered) and asked if I was ready to order. My intuition said it would be ok so I went with it but it wasn’t very reassuring. Now that I think of it the chicken had to be cooked separately from the curry (there’s a choice of protein) and I didn’t ask specifically how the chicken is cooked. The food was good but next time I will look elsewhere for a Thai Restaurant that has more GF options and is more receptive/proactive about allergies. I don’t get obvious symptoms when I’m exposed to gluten so can’t report anything on that front.
