Thai Tamarind

The owner is GF and understands about cross contamination. I am grain free, I always order the BBQ chicken, yellow chicken curry (with extra potatoes since I can’t eat rice) and chicken satay as an app. I’ve never been sick. I’ve been going there for the past couple years. I agree when they restaurant is busy they make mistakes but I’ve never gotten sick and I’m a sensitive Celiac.

No dedicated fryer. Be sure your dish doesn’t use it (ex:Tamarind prawns). Very good with labeling, but didn’t bring up the fryer.

First time I was here, the owner/ manager was great and I had a delicious safe meal. Today, she is not here and the staff is overwhelmed and not knowledgeable. The pad see ew came out with a brown sauce which the previous lady had explained was not safe for celiacs. The safe dish is pale in color. After questioning, the guy still insisted it was gluten free. But the container of the oyster sauce clearly said it contained wheat flour. Very dangerous. Staff clearly was uneducated. Granted , they were extremely busy but they should be more knowledgeable.

Owner was lovely and is GF herself. Had no worries about getting sick and there were lots of GF options to choose from. Unfortunately, I found the food bland and not very appealing. Wish I had enjoyed it more!

I have Celiac disease and the owner is lovely and eats gluten free herself. Most menu items are gluten free or can be prepared gluten free. I feel safe eating here and food is delicious!

Decent Vietnamese & Thai food with a staff that is very knowledgeable about gluten issues. It's great to go to a place where I have lots of choices that are gluten free! Having said that the food is good but not spectacular, it was all a bit bland for my taste though it might suit others just fine. The salad dishes were all fresh and the service was great.
