Amazing, but please proceed with caution, reserve in advance and arrive early in the evening when the chef is less stressed - be insistent on speaking with the Chef directly to explain specifically that you cannot eat soy sauce, and inform the chef you can't have wheat and are gluten free with an allergy. The Chef is AMAZING but it's a risk because he will only know what to make gluten free if you tell him and are careful to explain these things, particularly that you can't have soy sauce. I didn't get sick after doing that, but that's because I asked questions to the Chef, I had to explain why I couldn't have the soy sauce and that's when he understood. It's worth it if you do, though -- the ambiance, food, and special multi course dining experience feels like you're being served decadent thai food in the Chef's own living room. 11/10 on food taste and quality - above expectations and one of the best hidden gems in DC. Was stuffed when I left. Just be careful, because there is no menu to choose from, so you get what you are served! :) (All of it delicious)
