Not Celiac or food allergy friendly - I hate to say that because I used to love this place and all of the employees are fantastic. But food allergies are NOT a priority and the two times I’ve been there have been made to feel as if my requests were an inconvenience.
The last time I visited right at opening, I ordered a Steak and specifically expressed that I am severely allergic to gluten so no bread and discussed cross contamination. Nothing was passed on to the kitchen.
My steak came out with a piece of Texas Toast next to it and the waitress responded, well is it touching? I can’t even eat the bread so why would it be on my plate. My husband put it in a Togo box and I ordered another plain steak. I left bloated.
This is a very popular place but our community has a high concentration of gluten free people. It would be nice if they took this a little more seriously.
