Every time I go to the 9th monarch I have a wonderful experience with very nice people. They do offer a gluten free menu but you do have to ask for it. I go there multiple times a monthly and every time do not get sick. I would 100% recommend this to anybody with a gluten allergy especially if cross contamination really effects you.

I’ve had takeout from this location twice. The only gluten free options I’m aware of are the fresh rolls and the chicken pad Thai. Both are delicious and I would recommend.

With the glowing review already posted I was hopeful to stop here during our vacation. When I inquired about what items were gluten free he said “if it’s not fried it’s gluten free. There’s no way to know what spices are on every little thing because there’s gluten in everything.. so our rule of thumb is if it’s not fried it’s gluten free”. Didn’t get warm fuzzies from that. And I asked if they had gluten free soy sauce he said “all our soy sauce is gluten free” then brought me a kikkoman less sodium soy sauce where the second ingredient is wheat. Needless to say I will not be using it and hoping that I don’t get sick from the basic California roll that I ordered.

The staff is very knowledgeable and when they are unsure they get the Manager or Owner. Excellent service and great food. Only the fried items aren't gluten free and I have lots of other allergies but because it’s all made to order they can remove ingredients. Great pslace and great atmosphere!
