The Angry Butcher Steakhouse

We ordered a Ceasar salad to split and asked for croutons on the side for the person who can have gluten. Despite being made aware of a gluten allergy and specifically stating there needed to be no croutons in the salad at all...there were croutons. When we showed the server, he was like...well there is only one. So we moved it around and started picking croutons out to show him. He said he would "go tell her" and took the plate back to the kitchen. When he returned, he said they must have slipped off her spoon when she was putting them in the side dish. No apology, no level of concern, nothing other than excuses and how it could have happened. I am still trying to figure out how croutons could have slipped off the spoon with none of them being visible from the top as they were all at least half way down and mixed in.
