Review of The Attic

The reason for my four stars is that the food is super tasty. That said: as a celiac I found the menu to be quite limiting. One can certainly get a gf meal here but only about 20% of the menu. Most of the sauces are not gf. The place is a bit more upscale so one would think that they would have a chef that at least uses cornstarch for most sauces. Most good chefs do this for the taste because wheat flour detracts from the taste of a sauce in a bad way. All this said it is a doable place if you have friends that would like to go somewhere a bit more trendy. There are so few of these types of restaurants in LB. Though I would suggest Boo Beau where it's trendy, prices are a bit better and they have a more extensive gf selection
