This place has new owners, new website, and a new name, The Alpine Chef. I’ve only been here one time so I’m not sure if the menu has changed. They do still have a separate GF menu. The food was great and I didn’t get sick afterwards. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Fredericksburg.

Beware, had Hungarian Gulasch soup and Jaeger Schnitzel, with severe reaction. My sides were red cabbage and German potato salad. Very uncomfortable and sleepless night, My joints feel like they are on fire and my stomach has not stopped churning - it started about 45 minutes after eating, followed by excessive sweating and flu like feeling. Have been Celiac for 15+ years. Although food tasted good, I do not think I will ever venture down that road again.

They have a gluten free menu with lots of variety. I had Jaeger Schnitzel it was delicious! The gravy is made with corn starch bacon & mushrooms. (No gluten reaction)
GFree menu - ask for it - Will upload pics. I usually have the Sausage Sampler. Food here is always consistently superb. Full bar and Cider. No GFree beer but I did recommend they do so.
