They were very clear they have no gluten free food and sternly stated they are NOT celiac friendly. Don’t waste your time. Parking is hard and it’s a rough area with a lot of rafting busses in and out. This app is usually really trustworthy but do not go here.

I don’t know how they have so many good reviews. My server had no idea what was gluten free. I asked for a simple BLT add turkey with the gluten free bun. No aioli or cheese. She comes out with a different sandwich with cheese and aioli. Then we sent it back and she comes back with the same sandwich after we clarified that I wanted a BLT with turkey. This sandwich didn’t have the gluten free bun it was regular bread, had fried tomatoes and aioli. I then asked if the fried tomatoes were gluten free and she said and I quote “we can’t promise that anything is gluten free”. At this point I just sent it back and did not eat anything.

The servers know what is or isn’t gluten free, but unless it’s the middle of summer they won’t have many options. They made my burger on gf bread and said any of the sandwiches could be made gf. Good coffee too!

Separate grill for GF. They asked if we had celiac. Told us to stay away from the fries. Awesome burger on GF bun.

The waiter was VERY knowledgeable about Celiac disease and told me exactly what I could and couldn’t have. The owner is gluten free and will prepare your meal herself to make sure it’s safe. Super helpful and delicious!

Somewhat knowledgeable, no gluten free fryer. Did let me know about what products they would leave off the sandwich so I basically had a hot turkey lunch meat sandwich with melted cheese. The bun was good though. Priced too high for a lunch meat sandwich. Will not return.

Owner has Hashimoto's. Dedicated kitchen space. Just opened for the season. Delicious burger and root veggies.

The bean tree cafe was our best find by far this trip. The owner is celiac so they have an entire section of the kitchen dedicated to gluten free eating. They were extremely knowledgeable & the chef even brought my food out personally and assured me it was 100% gluten free. Not to mention it’s on a river in the mountains. If you’re ever in Hartford, TN on the way to Cataloochee Valley you HAVE to try it! Very impressed and I cannot day enough about their hospitality. We will 100% be back.
Was seated then waited for quite a while but no one ever even said hello to us once we were sat. Wish we could have tried the food but we were hungry so we left.
Owner has celiac, so the staff is very knowledgeable. Very careful with cooking space. Sandwich was delicious, and my non-gf family was happy with their food as well!
