I have to say to this supposably 4 star dining place "the biscuit bar", my son was so excited to finally get into Dallas from a long two day and a half bus ride from San Diego from boot camp to beautiful Dallas Texas. His bus dropped him off at greyhound downtown and he had a 9 hour wait for his next bus ride home and decided to go to "biscuit bar" to unwind drink a coffee and get himself a little something to eat which he did. I was texting him to see how he was doing and he said the waitresses kept looking at him and that they were so rude to him and made him leave to stand outside in the rain stranded with no where to go. I just want to say from a mothers perspective to whoever the owner is to this "biscuit bar", I would not wish anybody to be treated this way especially to an 18 year old just getting in from a hectic and lonely place such as marine boot camp. If only your waitresses would have asked a few more questions on how someone's day is going or "if there was anything else they could help him with" instead of kicking someone out in the rain that has already paid to be there and relax for a bit. I will be leaving my review in every single area that I can about this place regarding there horrible customer service and maybe one day the owner will hire people that actually care about making someone's day, so that they would want to come back and talk about how amazing there experience was. I never write reviews, but today It will be my number one priority. Guaranteed Search Me Collections
The staff was very knowledgeable, but there were very little options for someone with celiac. I wound up getting the Monte Cristo without the biscuit, and it was literally two pieces of meat and strawberry preserve.. kinda disappointing. The tots are fried in their own oil so those were good! Would not recommend if you have celiac though. They said there is flour floating around their entire kitchen always, because of the biscuits being made all day. Also a sign that says “I love gluten” lol

While this restaurant is not at all designed for gluten free eaters, I was able to eat here without problem as someone with celiacs. You can easily order any of their biscuit oriented meals and eat it without the biscuit, which still provides a very filling meal- I had the steak and egg biscuit without the biscuit, and the amount of steak, cheese, and egg that I was provided proved to be a very filling breakfast. Additionally, the staff is very accommodating and truly goes the extra mile with their customer service. If you end up having to eat here in a pinch fear not! I would say to be careful if your sensitivity is severe and you need to avoid any possibility of cross contamination, though, since so much of the food here is oriented around gluten (there’s literally an I heart gluten sign on the wall, so). Filling, doable, friendly.
