The potatoes Au gratin is like potato Mac and cheese. And the bacon tower is heavenly. A work of art.

This place is amazing. Its outside town in an industrial looking area but it's a complex of multiple restaurants, bars and a stage (with live music on weekends). I believe they are all owned by the same owners.

The Black Sheep is their fancy, romantic restaurant, complete with chandeliers. The ambience and upscale sounding meals made us declare tonight's dinner an impromptu date night, so we ordered drinks (mine was a mocktail as I'm pregnant) and dessert. The waitress seemed very familiar with gluten free and was able to help us figure out what to order. My husband debated between multiple meals but ending up going with the roast chicken, which happened to be gluten free (not a requirement for him). I decided on some appetizers, the deviled eggs and snap peas, and then the truffle mashed potatoes. My husband, who is a total food snob, was super impressed, a rare occurrence indeed. My dishes were excellent individually as well, though maybe not the best as a combination. For dessert, we split the flourless chocolate brownie with a berry sauce. It was excellent though a crispy crust would have made it feel less like a flourless chocolate cake and more like a flourless chocolate brownie. Overall, the food was excellent and what a way to celebrate getting our second COVID shots.

The food here is great quality and tastes lovely! I am gluten and dairy free and have had:

- Spanish Garlic Shrimp - Braised Pork Belly - Torched Bacon Tower - Potatas Bravas - Steak with Cabernet Demi glacé - Fries - Wine - Sangria - Fromosa (sorbet and champagne)

There is a live music venue next door, the decor is open and beautiful, there is an outdoor option and the staff does pretty well with allergies. I did have to send something back that had butter on it, but the server was very new and they took care of it and didn’t charge me. Love this place and is a great birthday/anniversary spot too!
