Review of The Blind Burro

First for the food- pretty tasty, albeit a bit pricey but on par for the area. I had the al pastor tacos which were good, as I am a sucker for pineapple.

Now for safety- I am celiac and tried really hard to vet places in San Diego, and after reviews tried out the Blind Burro. Everything looked good up front, the waitress knew about the condition, brought me a gluten free menu, the works. They were very nice about it as well, which was reassuring. However, despite these precautions, I still got glutened :( It might depend on who is preparing the food that day, which explains the mixed reviews from those with celiac.

Bottom line- if you don't have celiac, I'd recommend, it was pretty good. If you do, I'd be cautious.
