Food was virtually flavorless, even the prime rib didn't taste like it was seasoned at all. No more crab legs on the buffet, but they still charge $40. Definitely not worth the money for the few GF offerings.

HUGE buffet as well as an a la cart menu. They have a list of all the foods that are GF on the buffet! Our waiter was AMAZING! Food stations are separated well to keep cross contamination to minimum. Ice cream and pudding are available for dessert. Definitely ate way too much! Everything was delicious!

This is a buffet... there is a large selection of gluten free and everything is clearly marked. I worried about cross contamination but all the main dish items (crab, prime rib, brisket, ribs) are all handled by a server. I had the chowder, crab dip, veggies, potatoes, salad, crab legs and prime rib and everything was delicious. They also have desserts :) it was so good we went twice while there on vacation!

Like other people have said it's a little pricey but worth it. Lots of selection and everything is clearly marked. No reactions. Will add this to my list of places next time we come to OC.

Symptomatic Celiac

I am celiac, and didn’t get sick (but I’m really surprised that I didn’t). Lots of items marked as GF, which was very encouraging at first, and what I did eat was really tasty! A manager told me they do not have a dedicated fryer so French fries and tortilla chips were out for me.

Then I got some delicious London Broil, only to later (after eating it) see the employee who was cutting the steak use his utensils to dip someone else's steak into a very thick gravy sauce. (I thought for sure after seeing that I'd be sick, but never had any symptoms.... Maybe I got lucky?)

We like to vacation in OC, so I'm not a regular, but after my near miss experience, I don't think I'll go back to this place. It was fun to eat at a buffet, don't get me wrong, and there are lots of choices... But I'm not comfortable they really know what "Gluten free" needs to mean to a Celiac.

If you are not Celiac, this place is for you.

I ate here 3 years ago and it was very different than what I experienced tonight. My bf convinced me to give this place a second chance after we read positive reviews on this app stating they had the gluten free options labeled, which was not at all the case 3 years ago. I'm really glad I gave it a second try. Now everything labeled with a yellow sticker is gluten free. There were a lot of options for me to have for dinner, and two for dessert. I have celiac so typically buffets are my worst nightmare. But I was really happy with how tonight turned out. It was refreshing to eat at a buffet, just like a regular person again. I would definitely recommend this to fellow Celiac's.

GF options on the buffet were clearly marked and I did not run into any cross containment issues with the food. A lot of options, but seafood quality was not the best. Not sure if it's because we can during the off season. Service was fast and friendly, and pricing was reasonable.

We decided to try this restaurant even though it was not listed in GF. We were pleasantly surprised that they had a complete list of Smorgasbord items that were part of their incredible seafood buffet. We spent two hours grazing. Excellent service.
