The Breakfast Caffe

Found this amazing spot through FMGF. Traveling through Morgantown after an early flight and needing breakfast. My fiance has celiac and we always struggle to find places to eat in small towns.

What a wonderful surprise this place was. Dedicated gluten free and vegan menu options as well as an array of GF side options.

We got the GF Biscuits and Gravy and it not only smelled and looked delicious; the taste was phenomenal.

This place is such a great find! So safe even tho not dedicated. The staff and chef are so helpful. The food is delicious!!! Had a breakfast bowl and a biscuit. Left with gf pepperoni rolls!!

Stopped by to grab my celiac daughter breakfast. The chef and server were both wonderful and very knowledgeable. They did not mind my questioning everything to make sure it was safe. The food was delicious! The GF pepperoni rolls and the GF biscuits were superb. Make it a point to support this local caffe!

A nice hidden gem for those with Celiacs. Has gluten free options and is a scratch kitchen. We tried the biscuits and gravy, the French toast, and pumpkin bread. While the French toast was just gluten free bread made into French toast it was still good. The biscuits and gravy had a great flavor and the pumpkin bread was superb!

Wow! I had the biscuits and gravy and they were amazing!! I only wish the serving size was a little bigger, they were so good I could have kept eating! Could not believe they were gluten free, so good! Charming little place with a super friendly wait staff and a little rock music to get you going in the morning too. If I lived near by I would eat here often!

We were traveling to Morgantown WV and I found this place online. Had a fantastic experience and loved that there were several options on the menu that I could actually eat, especially since I am dairy free as well. I chose the make your own breakfast option ordering eggs, homemade sausage, buckwheat cakes and a GF vegan biscuit. The owner prepared our food and served us so she knew what my intolerances were. The food was delicious and I loved that I had so many choices. The buckwheat cakes and the biscuit were my favorites and I would definitely return.

I have gluten intolerance, so cross-contamination is not an issue for me. I went in only wanting a takeout order of GF biscuits & gravy, but I ended up leaving with GF peach cobbler and 3 GF pepperoni rolls as well. The owner talked to me while I waited, and she was very personable! I can't wait to go back 🙂
