I went to this buffet last week for dinner and was pretty happy with the service and options. I told the server that I had celiac disease and they let the head chef know and he came out and gave me a tour of the entire buffet line and pointed out what was safe and what was not. For dinner there was turkey and ham at the carving station, the entire tex-mex line including a really tasty pork chili verde, several shellfish and crawfish dishes, mashed potatoes, most of the salad bar, and five deserts including a good carrot cake and surprisingly good creme brule. The chef even came out later during the meal just to check up on me. I suppose it bears mentioning that the buffet at the Luxor is one of the more economical ones on the strip, so you get a lot of good solid food but if you want caviar and prime rib you'll need to go elsewhere and pay twice as much. However, the food is good and there was a good selection of food for a celiac. I had no issues at all, not even any acid reflux or heartburn which is usually my warning sign of minor contamination (i.e., someone with hands that had touched bread touched my plate, have someone remove croutons from a salad that I eat and I'm in the bathroom for two days!).
