I always get so worried while traveling. Usually only eating things I go and buy at a local store that has certified gluten free items or I pack a lot of snacks. However, after reading the reviews and being extremely hungry I decided to give a buffet a go. (And I usually stay very far away from buffets for mainly cross contamination reasons but also that most people don't even know what gluten is in. At The Buffet at Luxor, Chef William was beyond helpful. He was amazing, so knowledgeable, and very friendly! He walked with my husband and me around the entire place telling me everything that was ok and everything that was not. He even told me about how he asks for every single ingredient from a company (the sausage company kept refusing to give him the ingredient list because it was a family secret and so he recommended I just stay away). He had all his other line chefs trained and the lady behind the dessert/sushi bar even had some gluten free desserts for me behind the counter and they were amazing! I did not get sick other then eating way too much of all the delicious food I was finally allowed to eat.
