The person at the counter had very little knowledge about gluten-free, but we decided to stay based on previous reviews. There is a dedicated fryer and the food was delicious but I would definitely say it’s a bit risky.

I was not very confident ordering. The cashier wasn't really sure about anything other than the fries. I stressed "allergy" (we are celiac) and asked them to change gloves etc. We ordered 4 burgers with toppings and GF buns and 2 large fries. The food was really good and we did not get sick, but I'm not sure if I would risk it again 🤣

Called to ask if Burger Shack cooks their burgers in a separate pan for gluten free and according to the person I spoke with, they do not. They cook them on the same grill and put them in a gluten free bun.

Ate here twice, gluten free bun is very good, never got sick! I love it!

Edit: I still haven’t gotten sick and I come here weekly now!! Amazing fries and burger every time :)

Person at the register answered all my questions and made sure my order would be prepared safely. The food was great. Parking lot is quite small, but I think you can also park on the access road next to the restaurant. I'll definitely be back.

Food was amazing, fries in their own fryer. The GF bun was good and they cook the buns separately.

The burgers here were great and the GF bun was delicious! Fries are made in GF fryer (and are really good). When I asked for a GF bun, the employee asked if I had an allergy and said that he would make a note of it for the cooks.

Good gluten free buns. Burgers are cooked on a piece of foil to prevent cross contamination. Burger was one of the best I've tasted!

Falafel burger was excellent with GF bun. Manager was called (Sunday) to confirm GF menu items. No immediate signs of cross contamination. Cooks changed gloves at least once. Non-celiacs should definitely give it a try!

very knowledgeable, manager watched the cooks like a hawk to make sure everything was taken care of. didn't get sick and very tasty!!

Two sons are celiac and staff prepared the food carefully. Had GF rolls for burgers and dedicated fryers for french fries. Staff was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. Burgers we're really juicy!

Wow, great find close to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum but especially great if you need to eat gluten free. I spoke with the owner/manager before we placed our order. He told me to tell the person to whom we gave our order that we needed GF and it was for a food allergy. That gentleman then informed the food preparer and then again double checked and confirmed again. And the fries are GF too!

Oh did I mention they have chicken and vegetarian options too? Food is delicious!

Outstanding burger/hot dog place with tons of GF options. They clearly mark whether everything is GF or not and have GF buns for all burgers, etc. There are also a lot of veg and vegan options that are all tasty (e.g. falafel burger is all GF and delish). Fries are always plentiful and delicious!

Very friendly staff and understand Celiac. They accommodated for my daughters meal. They even have a dedicated fryer, so my daughter can actually have French fries. They even mistakenly but a regular bun next to my daughters GF one and fixed it. Very please. Will undated how on the food was.

They have a separate fryer, they have a separate grill as well. They are very knowledgeable on gluten sensitivity and celiacs. really good food!

We have gluten allergy, but not celiac, and I did not look at whether they had a dedicated fryer. They have gluten free buns for the burgers, and loaded tater tots and fries. The food and shakes were great.
