Amazing gluten free focaccia bread! The has chef had celiac and I felt very confident with celiac precautions and the servers knowledge of gf options. Don’t miss the focaccia bread and the little Deborah cookie. So good!

Had high hopes for this place!! Was a little disappointed that there were only two options for gf baked goods (both cookies). Thought there would be more!! But the breakfast food was good.

This restaurant is great! Our waitress was extremely helpful. I had the avocado toast on a delicious gf bun. They took my needs seriously and were able to accommodate me my Celiac needs! The food was amazing!

This place is so good! They have AMAZING gluten free bread and almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. The head chef has Celiac so they are very knowledgeable. If you come to Nashville definitely go to The Buttermilk Ranch!

This place is honestly out-of-this-world. I’ve only dined-in once (which was a great experience), but have also stopped in multiple times for GF desserts or sandwiches to go. Really sophisticated options, far beyond your typical GF options. Expect long wait times esp. for Sunday brunch if you want to dine in! You can’t make reservations but check out the waitlist option on their website.

Super helpful staff and great food! Went there for brunch and a lot of the foods on the menu are not made with gluten, and most of the rest can be made gluten free with substitutions! They prepare the gluten free food in a separate area that is cleaned, and the manager has Celiac!

This place was pretty good! The menu pictures I posted below in the photos section show the exact menu we were given. It’s clearly marked as already made gluten free or can be modified to be gluten free. I got the chicken and waffles which the modification to be gluten free was to remove the chicken since it was friend. Keep in mind the modifications could mean they remove a component or substitute gf bread. Also, I recommend checking their website to see if you can get on the waitlist. They are SUPER busy but it was definitely worth the wait! I had no reaction from their food and the waitstaff seemed very knowledgeable with allergies and gluten free food.

I was so excited to try Butter Milk Ranch because it had a high safety rating in the app. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, I’m already having symptoms of cross contamination. A couple things gave me pause, but I gambled because others reported to have safely eaten there. There were 3 red flags I should have (and normally would have) considered:
1. No dedicated kitchen space (it’s hard to find places around Nashville with dedicated space so that’s normal here). I was told that the area is cleaned and gloves are changed.
2. The pastry display was 2/3rds gluten free, but the top shelf was glutinous products (crumbs could fall onto the gf items below).
3. There is no flag or other indicator on the plate that the dish (sandwiches in our case) were gluten free. The server verbally confirmed that it was the gluten free focaccia bun when I asked as the food was brought to the table.
Also, some people mentioned a gf menu. There was no gf menu offered during my visit. However, almost everything could be made gluten free and the lady that took our order explained the options clearly with confidence.
If you’re not celiac or aren’t as sensitive to cross contamination, Butter Milk Ranch is a great option. Unfortunately it’s not an option for me.

Gluten free bread is really good! The menu is clearly marked with items that are GF or can be modified and it’s a large majority of the menu! They also have some gluten free pastries available but varies seasonally.

MOST AMAZING GF PLACE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! Pastry chef has celiac… so the amazing decadent pastry counter is almost entirely gluten free. They have the basics but then insanely intricate European level fancy pastries! We’re talking mini espresso cheesecakes and more. The entire menu is also labeled gf or can be made gf. The bread for sandwiches is homemade focaccia. I’ve truly never been anywhere this amazing.
