Fantastic fine dining at Cafe on 26 last night. Almost everything on the menu is made gluten free, and they will happily modify anything else. Note: the carrot cake is not gf, but with a GF chocolate mousse this good you won’t miss the carrot cake! Note that they don’t take walk ins. Reservations only.

The filet mignon is delicious, and the gluten free key lime pie (with a chocolate cookie crust!) is amazing. The salmon which is stuffed with crabmeat is a huge hit with my family. I wish they still served lunch. Great food and service, and very knowledgeable about gluten.

This used to be my favorite restaurant but they stopped serving breakfast and lunch. Dinner is expensive, but food is good. Would like it to be open for at least lunch.

There service and food was great! Many things on menu were gluten free. They are willing to accommodate. They brought blue corn chips out for the crab dip instead of pretzels that normally come. Their crab cake was delicious. No fillers. Mashed potatoes and green beans so yummy. It's a quiet place. Our family enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We will be back on our next trip.

A nice, quaint café. They claimed everything was gluten free...in reality, most things can be made gluten free. Options for kids-chicken breast, gf Mac and cheese, grilled cheese. Very Pricey. Server was less than attentive and put off with our asking questions about cross contact. "We're very good at gluten free" was all he said. Food was ok. Our gf kids ate mashed potatoes for dinner.

When searching Bethany Beach, this place had the most reviews,so we tried it. A mistake! First greeted, the host stated "everything was GF". A quick look at the menu and we knew otherwise. We asked our waiter how the chicken noodle soup and the french onion soup could be GF. He said they use GF bread in french onion and cous cous instead of noodles. Pressed further and asked where do they get GF cous cous?

He checked with the chef and said they were not GF and neither was the french onion. Service was very slow and don't be foolled by the $$ above...entrees were $25.00 - $50.00.

Separate celiac kitchen. Owner & the chef are very knowledgeable. This is an adult atmosphere in an historic house. Great seafood, steaks & lamb. (It is the Cafe on 26 as in Rt. 26, the location of the Cafe.) Undoubtedly the best on Delmarva.

We have been here several times and I don't mind paying for really good local food. The meal was decent, however my 6 year old ordered noodles (not gluten free) with butter (out of red sauce with a side of carrots and green beans). It was served on a appetizer size plate and they charged me $12 for butter noodles and $4 for side of carrots and green beans. This meal cost about 2.00 in total. Worst thing my 6 year was still hungry after and we needed to stop for pizza. I was not about to order more.

Terrible Experience! Ordered a grilled cheese and roast beef sandwich. 40 minutes later we walked out. Server did not know what ingredients were used to make products gluten free.

FABULOUS food. And I mean FABULOUS. My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We both got stuffed flounder topped with crab imperial...delicious!!! The best thing about the Cafe is being able to find GF crabcakes, crab bisque and desserts!!! We had cheesecake and a molten lava cake...holy COW were they good. LOVE the Cafe on 26...a "must visit" for those with a gluten intolerance/allergy! They have excellent lunches as well, and a nice selection of wine/alcohol, including our fave GF vodka - Tito's. ♡♡♡

an absolute favorite for several years! When we are vacationing in Rehoboth we make sure to include a meal at Cafe 26. Bit of a hike from Rehoboth but worth it for those with a gluten allergy!

YOU MUST PUT DAGSBORO INTO YOUR GPS (NOT MILLVILLE) OR YOU WILL NEVER FIND THE PLACE.

Quaint, lovely little place with DELICIOUS food cooked to order, delightful staff, and reasonable prices.

I had "crazy eggs", GF toast, GF cinnamon scone, and GF maple caramel. GF Kid 1 had eggs, sausage, key lime pie. GF Kid 2 had chicken salad sandwich & key lime pie. We all *loved* our food. The kids want to come back for every meal, every day of our vacation. :-) This meal was Sunday Brunch.h

The non-GF people enjoyed their food too.
